A Note on Two Notions of Arbitrage
نویسنده
چکیده
Since Hart's [5] and Werner's [10] seminal papers, several conditions have been proposed to show the existence of equilibrium in an asset exchange economy with short-selling. In this note, we discuss the relationship between two no-arbitrage conditions. The ̄rst condition is the assumption that the individually rational utility set U is compact, as considered by Dana, Le Van and Magnien [1]. The second is inconsequential arbitrage, introduced by Page, Wooders and Monteiro [9]. The main result of this comparison is to show that the inconsequential arbitrage condition is stronger than the assumption that U is compact.

On Arbitrage and Replication in the Fractional Black Scholes Pricing Model
It has been proposed that the arbitrage possibility in the fractional Black–Scholes model depends on the definition of the stochastic integral. More precisely, if one uses the Wick– Itô–Skorohod integral one obtains an arbitrage-free model. However, this integral does not allow economical interpretation. On the other hand it is easy to give arbitrage examples in continuous time trading with sel...

In searching a market-neutral arbitrage strategy in forex market, we took a portfolio of three major currency pairs, EUR-USD, USD-JPY, and EUR-JPY. There are eight approaches, different cases of short and long positions; for example buying 1st and selling two others, etc. Historical daily FX rates were gathered since January 1990 until February 2011. Monthly covariances between daily growth rat...
متن کاملWeak and strong no-arbitrage conditions for continuous financial markets
We propose a uni ed analysis of a whole spectrum of no-arbitrage conditions for nancial market models based on continuous semimartingales. In particular, we focus on no-arbitrage conditions weaker than the classical notions of No Arbitrage and No Free Lunch with Vanishing Risk. We provide a complete characterisation of all no-arbitrage conditions, linking their validity to the existence and to ...
متن کاملA note on vague graphs
In this paper, we introduce the notions of product vague graph, balanced product vague graph, irregularity and total irregularity of any irregular vague graphs and some results are presented. Also, density and balanced irregular vague graphs are discussed and some of their properties are established. Finally we give an application of vague digraphs.

In this note first we define the notions of fuzzy positive implicativehyper BCK-ideals of types 1,2,3 and 4. Then we prove some theorems whichcharacterize the above notions according to the level subsets. Also we obtainthe relationships among these notions, fuzzy (strong, weak, reflexive) hyperBCK-ideals and fuzzy positive implicative hyper BCK-ideals of types 5,6,7and 8. Then, we define the no...
